Student Catalytic Seminar |
The Student Catalytic Seminar organized by the Catalysis Expert Group of the Czech Chemical Society provides a unique opportunity for Czech university students interested in catalysis. This traditional seminar, which has a long history, provides a space for students to present and discuss their scientific results with leading Czech experts in the field of catalysis. The first edition was held in 2018 at the VSB - Technical University of Ostrava and since then the venue has changed. The seminar is always organised by one of the scientific groups working at one of the Czech universities.
The seminar offers many advantages. In addition to the opportunity to gain new knowledge about current challenges and trends in the field of catalysis, it allows students to make important contacts that may be crucial for their future scientific career. Participants of the seminar also have the opportunity to get inspiration for their future research, to find out what equipment and technologies are used in other departments, or to establish collaborations at inter-university level.
Thus, the Student Catalytic Seminar not only provides expertise, but also promotes the personal development and professional growth of young scientists in the field of catalysis. |
In previous years, the seminars were held at the following sites:
2018 VSB-TUO – Institute of Environmental Technology
