Relevant instrumentation Institute of Process Engineering has a unique background in modern laboratories and facilities. It enables us to transfer research and development results into the fundamental industrial processes. We possess modular units that enable the testing of catalysts in forms commonly used in industrial plants, such as monoliths and bulk catalysts. Specific applications include a modular experimental unit and a pilot unit with an integrated heat exchanger designed for catalytic oxidation, i.e. for the removal of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and an experimental unit for the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of nitrogen oxides (NOx). Available analytical equipment and gas analysers allow online measurements at the reactors' inlet and outlet to evaluate the catalysts' practical performance. |
